The sun nearly shone on the righteous that turned up to race the last round of the ELV/LVYCC Summer on the Hill series. Despite a pretty bleak weather forecast, the rain stayed away which thankfully led to some dry and incident free racing.
Race 1: Mens 34 saw a 30+ field role out, in the end Samuel Hucks of High Wycombe Cycling Club take the victory. ELVs very own Vince Christian finished strongly in the bunch.
Race 2: Mens Masters saw Andrew Hastings on team Haste take the spoils
Race 3: Womens 34 saw Emma Watson of Grinta Coaching.
Race 4: Mens E123 saw a very fast race, with Timothy Lynch of London Dynamo taking the win with a powerful finishing sprint.
Race 5: Womens E123 was won by Megan Panton of Multum Accountants – LSK Ladies Cycling Team.
ELV would like to thank all riders that took part in the racing today and throughout the series, the commissaires and all volunteers that helped put on this great series.
