We were stoked to see ELV Chris T take the win at North Road’s Bank Holiday ERRL Crit at Redbridge Cycle Centre, following Wayne Crombie’s second place in the Monument Hog Hill League E12s the previous week. Callum Stewart followed his recent win and promotion with a strong Monument E12 debut, finishing just outside the top 10. Results and photos for each week are available from Monument and entry for subsequent weeks is on BC or you can enter on the day. ELV Miriam also made it up to Redbridge for the Team LDN x Rapha crits on Saturday and came 5th in the women’s 34.

We’re also hosting some crits at HH ourselves on 16th June 1pm – 5pm. Summer on the Hill will have 234, women’s only 234 and Masters races. Come and hang out in the sun with us. Entry available now and on the day.

We’ve also been loving the TLI Tuesday crits up at North Weald, with Steve M, Vince and Chris T regularly heading up there to cause trouble, so far including a 4th place for Chris .

Come for the racing, stay for the skyscape.

LVVP has seen a bit of ELV as well, with Steve M, Alex E and Mark Plunkett heading down for a couple of Wednesday evening Full Gas crits, and David Smith and Callum Stewart smashing out some PBs in the Lee Valley CC Tuesday 10s.

On road, Steve Messenger impressed at Diss CC’s Road Race on Sunday, looking strong throughout the race and finishing 4th! ELV Miriam repped in the women’s race, coming 12th. Wayne Crombie also got the jersey on show at CC Hackney’s National B.

… and takes 4th place.

In audaxing, Wayne Crombie went to Hull and back to complete his final qualifying ride for the Paris-Brest-Paris. A mere 618km.

In tri, Nick White and Pete “The Triathlon” Dyson headed to Cambridgeshire to complete an abbreviated Grafman Tri, which Pete only went and won.

Meanwhile in time trialling, the Victoria 10 mile TT saw Chris T finish 7th with 22.13 and Rob Chaplin 15th with 23.08. Rob went on to take 12th place in Victoria’s 50 miler the following weekend, with a time of 02:04:19

We were chuffed that the very talented Matt Noble of Octave Racing chose to simplify our kit as part of his Kit Simple project. Thanks Matt.

That’s us for now. See you on the road 🙂
