Busy couple of weeks for Team ELV, who have been clocking up the miles here and abroad.

After recently placing 8th in the Easterly RC (SPOCO SE) 25 Mile TT, Rob Chaplin took on the Mallorca 312 finishing one of the toughest endurance events in the sportive calendar in 11hrs 52 minutes and 23 seconds (official classification). Chapeau!

Pete Dyson completed the 2019 IRONMAN Texas, placing 19th overall with the following ridiculously impressive splits:

Resident randonneur Wayne Crombie has been cracking through the Paris-Brest-Paris qualifying Audaxes (audices? audaciousness-es?), completing the 320km Three Counties Audax and the 405km London-Wales-London on consecutive weekends.

ELV Miriam and Steve Messenger took a less efficient approach to Wales, clocking up 548 miles x 13,668m over 6 days on a DIY tour.

Eamonn Henshall made us all jealous posting variations on the theme of azure skies, turquoise seas and golden KOMs as he zigzagged across Crete.

David Smith enjoyed a two-wheeled staycation, making the most of the sunshine in Essex, South Downs and Kent.

And don’t forget that spring/summer crits are now in play:

Tuesdays – TLI crits at North Weald OR Tuesday 10s at Lee Valley Velopark OR Crystal Palace Crits; Wednesdays – Full Gas crits at Lee Valley Velopark OR Beastway MTB at Redbridge; Thursdays – Monument Crits at Redbridge OR crits at Cyclopark Kent.
